From 1976 to 1998, he was Controller of Beth Israel Medical Center’s Kings Highway Division (formerly, Kings Highway Hospital Center).There he handled the supervision of the accounting staff; general accounting functions including payroll and accounts payable; third-party audits and the preparation of monthly financial statements, annual budgets and third- party cost reports.
Mierzejewski received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Baruch College in New York – The City University of New York.
